Dr. Leslie J. Botta, DC, Executive Health Director

Dr. Leslie J. Botta, DC, has been practicing for over 18 years. She began in 1993 by owning her own practice in Scotia, NY. In 1999, she was honored with being the first and only Doctor of Chiropractic to serve as a Commissioner of the NY State Workers Compensation Board. She was able to serve the citizens of NYS by broadening the knowledge of the WCB as to the benefits and the education of many holistic and CAIM healthcare practitioners.

She then held the office of Deputy Director of the Office of CAM at the NYS Dept. of Health and was able to continue to serve New Yorkers in a larger holistic health based role by building a nationwide informational network of practitioners, educators, researchers, insurers, and many other leaders in holistic and CAIM healthcare.

Dr. Botta is currently seeing patients in her office in Albany, NY and continuing to serve a much greater public through HealthSource Now.  She is relishing the opportunity to raise the awareness of the general public about the many healthcare options that are available to them and also to provide a simple way for them to connect with a practitioner.  She is often heard saying, "I couldn't have asked for a better next step in my professional career.  It's just what the doctor ordered!"
