11/25: Thanksgiving - One Day Out of the Year

A day of appreciation and gratefulness... how beautiful!! Yes, Thanksgiving is a day to reflect on all the blessings we have in our lives. One day out of the year specifically set aside to throw out your negatives and focus on your positives. It really is a wonderful day; one that all people, no matter what their nationality or religious beliefs, can participate in.
Let's take this one day and focus on our positives AND use it as an example to begin every day after today by doing the same. It's better to focus on the sun brilliantly shining through the window rather than how cold it's going to be when you take the dog out, or how nice it feels to get a hug from your child instead of how they say, "That's disgusting!" when it's time to eat the dinner you spent precious time making. The positives that you focus on don’t have to be mind-blowing proportions. The precious little things are what make the big differences.
On this Thanksgiving Day, let’s focus on this one BIG POSITIVE:
Eat whatever you want and as much as you want of it!!! (Allergens and other life threatening morsels excluded, of course.)
Everyone can have one day out of the year to indulge in tasty food. It doesn’t even have to be turkey. Tape a turkey poster to the wall and eat sushi, whatever floats your boat, just indulge, be positive, and enjoy! There are 364 other days of the year to worry about your diet.
Have a HAPPY and POSITIVE Thanksgiving!
