11/3: Green tea - Drink it! (Even if you hate it.)

That's right, 1 cup per day, that's all you need. The health benefits are well documented.
Think about this – 20 years in the future you are diagnosed with a chronic life threatening disease and the doc says – "Gee, if you had just drank 8 oz of green tea per day, you wouldn’t be in this predicament today." How would you feel? (Not that this part is documented, but who knows, one day it may be...)
Green tea is a no brainer. Yes, organic green tea is best, it avoids the pesticides, but any green tea bag (or loose tea) is better than none! And I'm not talking about the High Fructose Corn Syrup laden gallon jugs. Good 'ole brewed green tea. If you can't handle it straight up, try it with mint, or honey, or agave (a sweetener), or an orange, pour it over ice, be creative. Don't miss this one simple opportunity to boost your health.
Kids like tea, especially with honey and/or orange. They think they're all grown up when they drink it. Like grownups drink coffee, but guess what, coffee doesn’t even compare to green tea.
Go for the green, 8oz per day; put a nice green dollar in a jar every time you do. It's a nice healthy incentive for you and the kids, and it helps pay for movie night!
Be well,
