- Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a healing art whose "highest ideal of cure is rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of health, or removal and annihilation of the disease in its whole extent, in the shortest, most reliable, and most harmless way, on easily comprehensible principles." (1). It is the art of healing that employs" a perfectly simple system of medicine, remaining always fixed in its principles as in its practice" (2).
Homeopathy is a whole system of medicine that utilizes the principle of totality of symptoms to assess the state that needs to be cured. The sum of all the symptoms and condition in each individual case, including those in the mental and emotional realm, is the sole indication of a remedy. It is by the dynamic action on the vital force that remedies are able to re-establish health and harmony by safely removing the whole of the disease, the totality of symptoms that were presented.
The homeopathic remedy that is selected is one that has the capacity to dynamically alter the condition and lift the natural disease at hand through similarity to the disease state itself. This is called the law of similars or similia similibus. Homeopathic remedies are prepared according to the strict guidelines of the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States (HPUS) and are regulated by the FDA. Homeopathic remedies prepared this way are dynamized to the point where only a minimum dose is needed to stimulate the organism to heal itself.
Homeopathy lends itself to self care for self-limiting conditions and is safe to use for infants, pregnant women and the elderly. Homeopathy is simple, safe, effective, affordable medicine.

- Counseling
Counselors assist people with personal, family, educational, mental health, and career problems. Their duties vary greatly depending on their occupational specialty, which is determined by the setting in which they work and the population they serve.
School counselors assist students of all levels to evaluate their abilities, interests, talents, and personalities to develop realistic academic and career goals. They use interviews, counseling sessions, assessment tests, and other methods to evaluate and advise students. Often, counselors work with students who have academic and social development problems or other special needs.
A vocational counselor's chief focus is helping individuals with career decisions. They evaluate the client's education, training, work history, interests, skills, and personality traits, arrange for aptitude and achievement tests, work with individuals to develop their job-search skills and assist clients in locating and applying for jobs. In addition, these counselors provide support to people experiencing job loss, job stress, or other career transition issues.
Mental health counselors work with individuals, families, and groups to address mental and emotional disorders such as; depression, addiction and substance abuse, suicidal impulses, stress, problems with self-esteem, and grief. They also help with job and career concerns, educational decisions, and family, parenting, marital, or other relationship problems. Mental health counselors often work closely with other mental health specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and school counselors.
Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselors help people who have problems with alcohol, drugs, gambling, and eating disorders. Counseling can be done on an individual or group basis. These counselors will often also work with family members who are affected by the addictions of their loved ones.
Marriage and family therapists apply family systems theory, principals and techniques to individuals, families, and couples to resolve emotional conflicts. In doing so, they modify people's perceptions and behaviors, enhance communication and understanding among family members, and help to prevent family and individual crises. - Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a technique to promote a desired change in behavior and encourage mental and physical well-being, including stress relief, weight loss and smoking cessation. The use of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes is referred to as hypnotherapy, which provides intense focused concentration with partial or complete exclusion of awareness of peripheral phenomenon.
Among its clinical uses are the treatment of pain, habit disorders, nausea, relaxation and anxiety. The mental state or set of attitudes is usually induced by a procedure known as a hypnotic induction, which is commonly composed of a series of preliminary instructions and suggestions. Hypnotic suggestions may be delivered by a hypnotist in the presence of the subject, or may be self-administered. A popular misconception is that hypnosis is a form of unconsciousness resembling sleep, but contemporary research suggests that it is actually a wakeful state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, with diminished peripheral awareness. - Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu physio-philosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu brings balance to the body's energies, which promotes optimal health and well-being, and facilitates our own profound healing capacity. It can induce relaxation and stress relief.
Jin Shin Jyutsu employs twenty-six 'safety energy locks' along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. When one or more of the paths becomes blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the local area and eventually disharmonize the complete path of energy flow. Holding these energy locks in combination can bring balance to mind, body, and spirit.
Jin Shin Jyutsu can be applied as self-help and also by a trained practitioner. A Jin Shin Jyutsu session generally lasts about an hour. It does not involve massage, manipulation of muscles, or use of drugs or substances. It is a gentle art, practiced by placing the fingertips (over clothing) on designated safety energy locks, to harmonize and restore the energy flow. This facilitates the reduction of tension and stress which accumulate through normal daily living. - Spiritual Healing
Spiritual healing is a healing philosophy incorporating the concept of spiritual energy as a healing force which uses prayer, meditation, individual or group spiritual resources and other methods of focusing thought energy.
The purpose is to heal the 'spirit' or that part of an individual that is more than the mind and makes them unique. Spiritual healing can be part of a larger religious practice or it can be achieved through individual counseling, or sometimes by something as simple as a vacation.
A 'broken spirit' can result from emotional trauma and may need professional mental health assistance, but often spiritual healing is achieved through prayer, meditation, and a good support network.
Using this philosophy, a strong spirit can contribute to a healthy body. Sometimes a 'broken spirit' can manifest unhealthy physical and mental symptoms. A spiritual healing practitioner can help a client address the root cause of an ailment while a medical or other health professional addresses the physical or mental issues.
